ABOUT THE ROLE
Renewable Energy Upgrades is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Retrofitters to join our expanding team. As a Retrofitter, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of the Victorian Government’s VEU (Victorian Energy Upgrades) Program. This program aims to promote energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions by providing energy-saving products and services to residential premises across Victoria.
- Perform basic installations of VEU energy-saving products at residential premises.
- Engage in door-to-door fieldwork to educate homeowners about the benefits of energy-efficient upgrades and secure their participation in the VEU Program.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, appointments, and interactions with homeowners.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve installation targets and contribute to the overall success of the program.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing homeowners’ inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Retrofitting certification is preferred but not required.
- Full training will be provided instead.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with homeowners.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors and engaging in door-to-door interactions.
- Basic technical aptitude and the ability to follow installation guidelines.
- A commitment to promoting energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Whether you’re new or experienced, join our team to drive awareness, offer free products, and contribute to renewable energy solutions.
Residential Product Range – Exhaust fan seal, Chimney seal, Showerheads, In-Home Display (IHD & Door Seals)
- Conduct door-to-door visits to provide free VIC – VEU Renewable Energy Upgrade products.
- Explain product benefits, educate customers, and ensure successful installations.
- Build positive customer relationships and collaborate with the sales team.
- Strong communication and motivation to create awareness.
- Self-driven with effective time management skills.
- Prior sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
